Maarohanye appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday afternoon after he handed himself over to police earlier in the day. Gauteng’s police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, said Maarohanye had been processed at the Brixton police station.
